Company Profile
B.K. INDUSTRIES was founded in September of 1969 in the garage behind Barry and Carol Klinedinst's home. Barry's brother, Bob, sold machinery for York Penn Machinery; and, through York Penn, their first customer was obtained, Richmond Screw Anchor Company, a manufacturer of concrete anchors for the construction industry. The job was to design, build, install, and train Richmond employees how to operate an automatic machining process for the various sizes of anchors manufactured by Richmond. Monies received from this job were applied toward a down-payment on equipment at York Penn Machinery.

In 1975, after out-growing the garage, the shop moved to Lafayette Street in York. By 1979, 12 employees were hired, and customers included Conewago Machine  Products, Allis Chalmers, and BMY. It was around this time that Bryan, Barry's son, joined the company as a machine operator, and in 1987 became Plant Foreman.

In July of 1980 PRE-MACH was incorporated, and moved to their present location -
4365 Run Way in Hellam Industrial Park.  The 10,000 square foot building PRE-MACH occupies was constructed by Kinsley.  Chief executive officers were: Barry Klinedinst - President, Daniel Meckley III - Vice President/Treasurer, and Robert Kinsley - Secretary.

All stock was relinquished from the shareholders to Barry in February of 1983.  In December of 1985 Barry and Carol purchased the building from CKFM.

The shop was expanded to 34,750 square feet in 1998 to accommodate the growing company's needs.

Over the years, PRE-MACH has built a reputation of high quality standards and good delivery levels.

PRE-MACH is in compliance with MIL-STD-45208A and MIL-STD45662A.
